T123 | KEEP SPEECH FREE

The latest in our people's history series, this design honors the late Mario Savio, the incendiary 1960's student leader of the Berkeley Free Speech Movement.  Savio, a fiery and inspiring orator, was greatly influenced by his experience as a civil rights worker in the summer of 1964. Mario never forgot the way Mississippi sharecroppers risked their lives for the right to vote and carried his fervor for freedom of political speech back to California where he led numerous protests and student strikes.

In a time where free speech is again under attack, honor Mario by shouting out truth. This shirt commemorates one of Mario's best known speeches.
